This release features very early studio and live recordings featuring the members that became HANDS. Some of this is from the earliest version of the band who, at the time were called IBIS. After this they went on to become PRISM and then HANDS. This features never before heard material, demos and live versions of songs released on their two albums, as well as covers of P.F.M. and others.

Mit diesem absolut überzeugenden Album legen Hands ein grandioses Comeback vor und ich hoffe, dass sie ihren Bekanntheitsgrad wenigstens ein bisschen nach oben korrigieren können - verdient hätten sie es sich allemal. Im Zuge des Comebacks haben sich die Herren vom Shroom-Label überlegt, gleich noch ein altes Live-Album nachzulegen. Das Kuriose an diesem Hands-Album ist, dass kein einziger Song von Hands gespielt wurde, sondern allesamt von den Vorgänger-Bands Prism bzw. Ibis stammen (von Prism gibt es ja bereits eine Shroom-Veröffentlichung). Die ersten 3 Titel des Albums sind Eigenkompositionen, der Rest sind Coverversionen. Die Live-Rehearsals von 1974 wurden unter dem Namen Ibis eingespielt (gecovered wurden hier u.a. Mahavishnu Orchestra, Johhny Winter, Allman Brothers). 1976 traten sie dann als Prism auf und coverten eher proggige Titel wie z.B. King Crimson's "Lament" oder "Celebration" von PFM. Die Aufnahmen sind - erwartungsgemäß - von mittelmäßiger Qualität und letzten Endes wohl nur für den eingefleischten Sammler gedacht.

The strange at this Hands album is the fact that not one song was played of Hands but all together of preceeding tape the Prism and/or Ibis comes (of Prism there is already a Shroom publication). First 3 title of the album are self-compositions, the remainder are Coverversionen. The Live Rehearsals of 1974 was brought under the name Ibis (gecovered Mahavishnu Orchestra, Johhny became here among other things winter, Allman Brothers). 1976 appeared it then as Prism and e.g. coverten rather proggige titles like King Crimson' s " Lament" or " Celebration" of PFM. The photographs are meant - as expected - of moderate quality and last end probably only for the eingefleischten collecting tank.
